TOKYO, Japan, March 16, 2020 – Hitachi High-Tech Corporation (TSE: 8036, Hitachi High-Tech) announced Hitachi High-Tech Materials Corporation (Hitachi High-Tech Materials), a Hitachi High-Tech wholly owned specialized trading company engaged in sales of advanced industrial products, such as chemical products and electronics materials, will change its company name to Hitachi High-Tech Nexus Corporation (Hitachi High-Tech Nexus) on April 1, 2020.

The word 'Nexus' signifies connections, links and bonds. Up until now, Hitachi High-Tech Materials’ main businesses have focused on the sale of fuels and industrial materials.
