2025 New Year’s Greetings from the President
Tokyo, January 6, 2025 – Takashi Iizumi, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi High-Tech Corporation delivered this New Year’s Message to employees.
New Year’s greetings to everyone.
The Hitachi High-Tech Group has implemented many reforms, including business groups and corporate divisions, based on the 2024 Mid-Term Management Plan ("2024 Mid-Term Plan") we launched in 2022. In 2024, we gradually began to see the results of our reforms, and I believe we have built a solid foundation for future growth. I would like to thank everyone who has worked hard to help this progress.
In recent years, the world has been in a state of constant change, with unpredictable natural disasters and unstable global conditions.
The Hitachi High-Tech Group has been working to identify businesses and strengthen its management base so that we can respond to all kinds of changes. We have clearly outlined its purpose through our “Power of Knowledge”, and I hope that this will lead to the acceleration of business activities and internal reforms. In order to consider appropriate responses to increasingly complex social issues, it is important that we have an accurate view of what is happening in the world. Thanks to our core Observation, Measurement, and Analysis technologies of Hitachi High-Tech Group, and our global network, we have the power to discover and understand what is happening in the world, the challenges that arise, and the problems our customers face. This knowledge we possess is also crucial for society, and people expect great things from us, so I hope that we will continue to make use of this strength.
I hope the Hitachi High-Tech Group can become a company everyone are glad to work for, and that we will continue to develop in the future. I believe that 2025 will be the year where we start to reap the rewards of the various reforms we have been working on. In order to respond to a changing society and the trends of the times, and achieve the Hitachi High-Tech Group's Stated Aims for 2030, I hope that you will continue to take on challenges without fearing change or failure.
