On August 27, 2016, we provided support for science education by bringing in a Tabletop Electron Microscope(TM3030) to the public recording of the "Science Kids" radio program at Nippon Cultural Broadcasting.
This is a radio program which we have run since 2006 that invites specialists on various themes to explain the scientific wonders which fill the world in a way that is easy for children to understand.
In the hands-on class using TM3030, 51 children observed samples which they wanted to see.
A contest of the photos taken was also held, and the winners were pictures of a bug caught in a cobweb, , a cat's claws and some freeze-dried tofu.
