On September 24, Hitachi High-Tech Korea, as a member of the South Korea Hitachi Group, exhibited the TM3030 tabletop microscope at the Japan-Korea Exchange Festival 2017 in Seoul. Live demonstrations were performed at the event, held at the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center.
The festival began in 2005, as a major part of the "friendship year" held to commemorate 40 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Korea. Since 2009, the event has been held in Tokyo and Seoul as a mark of collaboration between the two nations.
Approximately 60,000 people attended on the day, which was filled with events and exhibition booths from Japanese and South Korean enterprises, municipalities and more.
Among these, the TM3030 booth was visited by a large number of people.
It proved particularly popular with children, who enjoyed seeing the world as they've never seen it before. This made the event an ideal opportunity to enhance the Hitachi brand.
