Hitachi High-Tech Shanghai Co. Ltd. and Hitachi Construction Machinery (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., held a class on September 24 for 252 first-grade students at Shanghai Hua'Er Private Middle School. Hitachi High-Tech holds classes using tabletop electron microscopes to support science education. This class provided new opportunities for discovery by allowing students to examine items such as leaf pores and hairs. Hitachi Construction Machinery gave a talk on the operating principles and hybrid technology of machines like excavators and wheel loaders. This was the first collaboration between the two companies, and through the lessons we were able to promote awareness of the Hitachi Group's brand and technical capabilities in Shanghai.
