On January 15th, we hosted a science class at the Hitachi High-Tech Malaysia headquarters for 22 students from Mito Daini High-school, along with 3 teachers, an associate professor from Tsukuba University, who are currently on a training program in Malaysia.

On that day, we connected three locations—Hitachi Malaysia, Hitachi High-Tech Headquarters, and Mito Daini High-school—remotely to conduct the program collaboratively. Both students　currently in Malaysia for training　and those participated in their high school together and discussed the images of electron microscopy they wanted to see.
During the class, students observed objects such as pencil leads and ant mandibles and engaged in discussions with employees of Hitachi High-Tech Malaysia. The global-scale science class was featured in the Asahi Shimbun and Ibaraki Shimbun.

Moving forward, Hitachi High-Tech Malaysia will continue to advance science education in cooperation with the Hitachi High-Tech Group and the Hitachi Group.
