On January 25th, Hitachi High-Tech (Shanghai) held a science lesson for 165 first-year middle school students at the Shanghai Japanese School.
First, “Today’s Professor” joined remotely from Hitachi High-Tech’s head office to give a lesson on the theme “Let’s explore the microscopic structures of insects.”Next, the program moved on to hands-on equipment operation led by Hitachi High-Tech (Shanghai) staff. Students operated the microscope themselves while listening to instructions from nearby staff. They successfully observed everyday items such as pollen from daffodils and the central layer of masks. When they observed the teacher's hair, everyone reacted with excitement, saying "Wow!"
The 90-minute enjoyable lesson ended in no time. Hearing the students say "Thank you, teacher," We felt inspired to continue offering more classes that foster interest in science in the future.
