Naka-Marine Site About Naka-Marine Site

Marin Site

Naka-Marine Site, a new factory, was completed in March 2021 with the aim of expanding production capacity for core products (primarily semiconductor manufacturing equipment) and creating a development environment that enables creation of a diverse product lineup. In addition to being a state-of-the-art smart factory that takes advantage of the IoT, the Naka-Marine Site was also built to be environmentally friendly, such as by using renewable energy to reduce CO2 emissions to zero.

Hitachi High-Tech's electron microscope contributes to the development of semiconductor devices such as smartphones and wearable devices, and research in various fields such as biotechnology, materials, and polymers.

Observation

When you look at the mask with an electron microscope, you can observe the thickness of the fiber!
It is also possible to be observed at a magnification of more than 1,000,000 times in the SEM of Hitachi High-Tech.

Measurement

You can measure the length and thickness of objects!
For example, look at the smartphone you have. It is possible to check if the semiconductor in this is properly configured!

Analysis

From the energy of the X-rays obtained by beam incident to the sample, you can analyze what elements (elements, chemical bonds, etc.) are composed of!

Overview About the Giant QR Code Project

With an increase in training and meetings being performed online due to the spread of COVID-19, new employees have few opportunities to meet face-to-face and it has become difficult for potential hires to interact with people within the company. With this in mind, we decided to use the newly established Naka-Marine Site as a place to provide information for future new employees.
This was the idea behind "Project QR", which saw the installation of a giant QR code on the roof of Naka-Marine Site that enabled users to access the Hitachi High-Tech web page.
